Thinking Outside the Box (Literally)

I have 2 veileds and it is about time to move them into seperate enclosures. My female, Arleen is going to stay in their present home and Lazer, the male is going to get a new home! I was curious as to if anyone has gone outside the box and done something besides the ole "standard screen enclosure." If anyone has done something different or knows of a link to something different I would really appreciate some ideas!

Are you thinking of free ranging or making use of another type of enclosure? I saw an article in the old Vivarium magazine about building cages out of furniture. The best one was a screen cage made out of a large antique school library bookcase. With a classic arched top and glass doors, it was beautiful and huge! What about getting a entertainment center at a thrift store, replacing the panels with screen, sealing the frame, and giving your cham a nice huge space along a wall? Some folks have made large enclosures out of free standing shower stalls, replaced the glass door with a screen door. I've taken the approach of measuring the SPACE I have available and building a cage frame to fit it, not the other way around.
