hey guys,
at the moment I have a 8 month hoe, and hes doing really well so thinking of getting a panther. How well do chameleons do living close together if they are different species? If I set up a free roam for them will they fight or will I be ok?

It dpends on the chams.
My hoe and my male veiled get along...
they dont fr together always, but i can put kermit in kinks plants and they are fine, even crawl on top of each other.
HOWEVEr, this does not work for all chams...
you can try and see how it goes.

I would strongly encourage you to set up a visual barrier/divider so they can't see each other if they are caged. I recently lost a panther who didn't like the idea of a baby veiled next door and wouldn't want anyone else to have to experience that. I don't free range due to cats who have their claws, so I can't answer that portion of your question. Good luck whatever you decide!

Free-ranging multiples might prove tricky. I would just keep in mind that a panther could easily kill a hoe, and even visa-versa really. I wouldnt free-range multiples in the same room without ALOT of supervision. JMO
