thinking of getting a panther

well, I really have caught the chameleon bug, cos now I'm hoping to get a panther... My boyfriend seems quite happy with this- we're going to a reptile show at the end of the month & we want to get some good connections so we can make a responsible purchase. This is all very tentative at the moment though. I've only had my baby carpet 3 weeks- I want to be satisfied that he is settled in before getting another mouth to feed. We'll also have to consider how to install misting systems & the positioning of cages (although my boyfriend is way ahead of me in this!)

There's just something so special about chameleons and so rewarding in getting the husbandry right. They have great personalities (even my grumpy veiled) and are stunning. I consider myself lucky to have discovered the joy of owning these special creatures.
 
Its really cool that your boyfriend shares the obsession. Makes it more fun! My wife is so happy we got our little Zaphod. (She was a little upset today when he hissed at her for the first time...but I told her to get used to it!:D Yes, he's a veiled!) I hope you find the perfect new addition at the show;).
 
He's fascinated by the colours & he loves all the DIY I've been getting him to do to sort out the enclosures (apparently it's relaxing but I find it stressful)

It is sad when they're aggresive at first, but then you come to love em for the fiesty attitude!
