Thinking about buying a new cham.

Hello, i am thinking about buying a new cham. Either a veil or panther. I was wondering what the difference between a Premium veil and a normal? I see Premiums for $50 more and are Trans veils a real thing? Also not sure where to buy from.. Any advice on where to buy or what to buy would help a lot, thanks.

Trans veils are a real thing! I would check out any of the site sponsors as for a place to buy a chameleon whether its a veiled or a panther.

Panthers will run you a higher price but their amazing colors are well worth the price difference imo.

Trans veileds are definitely a thing - we have some here at the breeding center

"Premium" veileds are often from breeders who have specific lines for higher amounts of yellow, blue, or specific patterns or temperaments. They are more likely to be nicer or more mellow, and you have the bonus of being able to see the parents.

You can get regular veileds from places like us, which will still grow up to be big, beautiful chameleons, it's just more of a luck of the draw as far as color or temperament.

Panthers are, in general, more colorful, and are likely to be nicer or more accepting of handling than most veileds. They are not quite as easy to produce babies, and this is reflected in their price. If you're willing to shop around and check out lines, breeders, and locales, you can find a panther in nearly every color of the rainbow.

Thanks for the info! I'm having a really hard time choosing between a Premium Veil, High Trans Veil or some type of panther.. I have a Nosy Be right now, just not sure what to buy..
