thermometer probe...

i have a LLL cage and i have an electronic thermostat with probe controller (http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/thermometers-thermostats-and-timers/-/alife-1000-watt-electronic-thermostat-with-probe/) and a digital thermometer w/ probe. i was wondering how people are getting the probes into the cages and how they're sealing the hole so that it's not open.

also, what do you do when you w/ the probe when you have to tear down and clean the cage? you can't remove it since it's sealed in the cage right?

anyone? i noticed people are leaving thermometers in the cage but i was afraid of it getting wet.

the thermometer is gonna get wet no mater what. also to get it in i removed the back panel then put it inside then put the panel back on
