There's something on veiled's lip

Our veiled shed on friday and yesterday we noticed a brown little bread-crumb-like pimple on his upper lip. At first I thought it was a piece of a cricket I just fed him, but it didn't come off on its own. I tried to touch it with my fingertip and get it off, but no success. What could it be?

Something else still: from thursday on our cham has had a weird sleeping mask! He used to be all light green, but nowadays he has these almost black stripes on his face (otherwise still light green). I havent been able to take a decent picture but you can see the colours from the only crappy one I have. He has always had grey areas on his face, but they seem to get darker by night. Weird...

Not sure about the lump, but the dark colouring on his face is his adult colouring coming through. My adult male has a lot of black around his casque area.

Can you get him to open his mouth and see if "the brown thing" is attached from the inside of his mouth?

Sorry guys, false alarm! It was on his face for more than 2 days, but I was able to get it off a minute ago with warm water and a piece of cotton wool.

Haha, new owners syndrome... I'm begining to realize I dont have to be so worried about every little thing, I have done my homework.

Ior not liking my face cleaning:

It was probably just a piece of food stuck between his teeth and gum with a little piece handing out his mouth. I've see this with my guys before. Glad to hear that all it well. He's a cute little guy!!! :)
