I feed my female veieled 5 medium/large crickets every other day but she has quite an appetite and has started to devour the pothos in her enclosure. I also feed butternut squash as an occasional treat, along with blueberry skins since they are on the approved list. This isn’t a staple of her diet, she primarily eats insects and now lots of pothos! Anyway, when I give her squash I use a four sided cheese grater and use the fine side of the grater which gives me some nice stringy shreds of squash. I’m sure this helps her to digest it rather than just feeding her raw chunks. As a female, she’s maybe half the size of some males and she tends to swallow squash without chewing. Just an idea I wanted to share.
