The real reasons chameleons change colour…

this is my favorite fact to spit out at people!!!! Chameleons don’t change color with surrounding! Its mood! Also it’s not necessarily a rainbow of colors. What color they can change is based on species and genetics.
Also I know the answer to the bird question at the end!!!!!
- that two color cardinal was an incident of two fused zygotes of two genders. I think it’s called gynandromorphs , possibly where there were two twins, opposite genders, that fused during development in the egg. Or something happens during meiosis. I’m not 100% sure on the exact cause but It’s super cool!
