Hi everyone,

Well they are here. Both Amy's WC gravid female and the fresh WC male I got for her are doing well.

Quadzillia (the male) is drinking like a fish.
He has no fear of me and drank water from my finger tips after he drank from the misting bottle that I used like an eye droper.

I then tested him to see if he will eat regardless that he was treated 3 time with panacure before I got him.
He ate 3 crickets from my fingers.
He is doing so well that I no longer am worried about him.

Other then a tiny amout of bruising on his rear knees and a drop of retained shed, he looks awesome.
Far better then I expected.
He is also very active like my male panther.

Garadean is also doing well.
She is fatter then a cow with eggs.
She is a bit stressed out and wants nothing to do with me.
She has not drank yet and she turned away from me when I offered her a cricket.

Sadly I had to turn off my internet in order to afford all of this.
So no photos unless I leave the house and get to my brother-in-laws place.

I so wish you can see them right now.
They are truly beautiful.

That is great news, hopefully you'll have some babies soon. There are sacrafices that we cham owners face, but who needs the internet when you have chams to look at. :D

Yes happy harry , you did sound pleased when you opened each of them. I would love to see then but I guess that will wait. Congratulations
:)

Unfortunately, the eggs are believed to be unfertilized.

Harry- she is accustomed to total privacy, so you probably just need to give her space and I would shield her cage a bit. I had her cage in a location with good complete visual barriers near her cage. She is a good eater and not picky. And her urates were always white, so she's a good drinker, too. Her temps were cool. 72-75 in the room during the day, 65-68 at night. Her basking bulb was a 40W set so it overlapped one small corner area of her cage. She would bask near it, but not under it. Thanks for the added in on how you kept her.
Just so you know, her cage is raped on 3 sides with towels/plastic.
So no other cham can see her and so on.
She is in a quiet spot with little to no activity near by.

I do have a basking light for her, but only 7 1/2W bulb.
Her cage sits right next to the male's cage, so maybe tomorrow I'll stick in a 40 bulb in and share it with the male.

She does seem to want to be left alone so both will get little attention from me the rest of the day.

Thank you Sandy and Elliot. I can tell you took great care of her.

Harry

Oh, and yeah, the eggs should be infertile.

If her cage is wrapped then you can probably go with the lower wattage bulb. Her visual barriers here were not actually up against her cage. I like to arrange for airflow and keep an oscillating fan running in the room. Her spray head mister ran 3 times a day. Lights were on from 7:30 to 7 Pacific time at this time of year.
