Thamno Enclosure Tease*
Ok, first off, I apologize to those who were expecting the release of Experimental Enclosures Part2 today.

(my LOC that Ill be housing a trio of B. Thamnobates in )
I am STILL not finished
I do FULLY expect to be done tomorrow though!
In the mean time, Id like to talk a little bit about how I intend to keep my thamnos, and maybe get some feedback?
Ill be housing them outside as much as possible.
I am located on the east coast of NC, USA.
I should be able to leave them outside until Oct.-Nov. and maybe even longer than that.
I am new to this region though, so I am just going off of weather data I find on the net, and a couple of conversations with a few locals.
We will see how it goes.
Aside from all the wild bugs/flies that will be available to them, I intend to offer mantids, crickets, dubia, and phoenix worms/soldier flies at this point in time.
The outdoor cage they will be in, is 6' wide, 5' deep, and roughly 5' tall in the back, it has a sloped top, the front is roughly 4' tall.
I used EMT for the frame, and covered it in panels made in the same style as my other outdoor cages(

To give a general idea, here are a few snaps of it being built from weeks ago, it looks
much different now:
Live plants that will be used include:
3 Acer palmatum (Japanese Maples) of 2 different "cultivars"
1 Nandina domestica (Heavenly bamboo)
1 Osmanthus fragrans (sweet olive)
2 Dracaena marginata
Lots of long grasses
Im also planting some herbs and vegetables in there as well, for feeders to eat on. I have some basil and carrots already that I intend to use, anyone have any other suggestions?
Thats all Ive got atm, Ill post the finished product tomorrow, I promise!
