Other than the stuck skin, yes they are kind of warty and look like a lichen is growing on them.

I suppose stuck shed could qualify as crud too, if it's chronic.
Warty wouldn't bother me. As long as they're healthy.

When i got mine i thought we should rename them "bark chameleons" for marketing purposes. I mean it worked for the Yemen chameleon
