Terra for pigmy

Hi! I have got glass terrarium 30cm x 30cm x 20 cm ( 12 inches x 12 x 8 ) and I want to keep in it a couple of rippeleon brevicaudatus. They will arrive next week, so I have go a question. Shall I put something on the terra walls ex. bark or sth like that? Greetings

Hi there, welcome to the forum mate
Personally i would buy some Coir panel and use that, as the chameleon will be able to climb on it, can you get the exoterra foam backrounds in Poland? if so, but the one for the 12x12x12" terrarium and cut it to size.

Check out the forum on pygmy enclosures, if you haven't already. Lots of pictures and examples. I'm hoping to get my pygmies at the end of the month, so we're kind of on the same page.

Hi,

sorry but your tank is even to small for one brevicaudatus. For a pair it's only a question of time when the first animals die.
And please take a real terrarium for them - and no aquarium with screen on the top

In our articles, it is told, that it is even more for a couple then they need ;/ I thought that the sizes on our website are too small, so I made it bigger. I think it will be ok.

How about epiweb and some starting moss from outside? If you are careful, you can get a good moss culture going without bring in pests.
