Temporal gland secretions

Hello,
I am moderator of Spanish forum, and we have a series of questions about the temporal gland secretions of some African chameleons ... We know it is a kind of yellowish discharge that used to attract insects.

I hope some of you know something more about it.

I don't know much more than what you said about the temporal gland in the Jackson's chameleons....but would be interested in learning more.

The C. chamaeleon has a gland in its face/cheek...do you know anything about it?

I don't think that I know only have this type of the genus trioceros glands ... But not in all species, especially in jacksonii, hoenhelli etc
