temperature? outside

i know what he temps should be inside but i have a few questions i cannot seem to find answers to(i have a male veiled) about outside temps

ok it has been about 80-85 degrees but that doesnt factor in the wind which of course makes it a little cooler when deciding to put them outside for the day do you factor in the wind or just the temp in the sun

if so how do you take the temp with the wind?

second question is about night temperatures i know they say in your house they should be fine if the temp doesnt go below 60 you dont need any extra heat

is it the same for outside too?

i checked tonight (he is not out yet enclosure isnt even built) and the temp was 54 degrees so that would probably be too cold but when it does hold steady above 60 will he be ok out at night?

oh one more question
do you guys leave your chams out in the rain too?
or do you cover part of the top with something so they can get out of the rain?

Where do you live? I live in South FL and I only take my Veiled out for a few hours at a time when I am home to make sure I can bring him in if it gets to hot or to cold.

If it's 80-85 degrees outside I don't think the wind would make it drastically colder (unless it's really windy) so I just use sun temp. You veiled is 3 months right? so 80-85 is good.

This I can't answer, I keep my male veiled indoors at night but with the windows open sometimes. If I could keep him outside, I would wait until he was 5-6 months. But that's just me.

he is more like 5 mo old i am pretty sure he was 3 mo when i got him and i have had hifor 2 mo so it would make him app 5 mo

how big are they (roughly) at 5 mo(i know you cannot give exact age by size)

anyway i have been taking him in every night although it is about 70 tonight

i live in ohio by the way

it was really warm and humid today b/c of the storms traveling up from somewhere lol
