Temp - Humidity Sensor Upgrade

Hi folks. I am looking to upgrade my in cage temperature and humidity gauges to digital and was wondering if anyone had a particular product they use and love? I have three cages, so I was thinking about something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Ambient-Weath...ter-Temperature/dp/B006OQNRQ8/ref=pd_sim_hg_3

Or this, which has pretty good reviews on amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Meade-TS33F-M...-12&keywords=temperature+and+humidity+monitor

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts and reccomendations!

I have found the digital ones with the probes to be more accurate for the most part. I have used several in my enclosures but right now I am actually using the exo terra temp and humidity digital probe. I usually also test against two other ones and if all are pretty much the same then I feel pretty good about them. I have had some in the past be way off right out of the packaging. I have an infrared thermometer that I also gauge against it. S far the exo Terra's have been pretty accurate in my experience.

I don't use a thermometer in cages anymore. A non-contact infrared temp gun is portable, accurate, quick, and will give you the surface temp of anything you point it at (like your cham's body surface while it's basking etc). The only surface they don't really work on is something mirror shiny.

I actually have an infrared temp gun, I should have mentioned it because I feel it a must for any cham keeper, and affordable too. I am more interested in updating my sensors to monitor the humidity in my various cages.

Quick question Carlton, how do you use it to measure the basking spot? Do you measure the spot, or the cham's body when basking? I usually try to ensure the spot is > the lowest acceptable temp for basking, and ensure the cham's body temp when basking is < the highest temp in the basking range.
