temp and humidty meters

Where do you put your thermometer in your cage, and where is the best place to put the humidity meter to get the most accurate reading?

I have the round meters that your supposed to stick on, but they wont stick to the mesh in the cage, any ideas?

i put paper or something on the backside of the screen to help it stick. my gauges are all over. top, middle, front, and back

You really ought to consider getting a digital thermometer and humidity guage. I noticed that with the little cheap ones that they were nowhere close to accurate. Humidity guage was off by 30percent. I got mine at home depot and it measures temp. at the location you set the main unit and a remote sensor measures temp at a seperate location. You can use that to get your gradiant correct. It also measures humidity. I've checked it against another humidity gauge and it is very accurate. It cost twelve bucks. Not much more than the cheapies. Hope that helps. David
