Teens... Very Independant

Waldo yesterday decided that since he turned 8 months old, he could sleep anywhere that he pleased. I moved him into his enclosure after chasing him down since he decided to be independent and not wait for me to take him outside. He keep climbing off the free range and heading for the front door...

Anyways my independent teen turned 8 months old yesterday and he decided that sleeping on the cooled off heat lamp was the best place to sleep last night. Since he's turned 8 months old he wanders everywhere... going to need to keep a close eye on this Guy.

sounds like a little turd haha. I know for a fact that if I had my guy whose about six months on a free range I would lose him, he likes to crawl everywhere.

My husband and I watched Waldo the other day climb off his enclosure, walk across the floor. Stopped and curled his tail and hissed at something and go underneath the couch. Then he climbed the couch to my computer and climbed down to the kitchen. From there he ran to the front door.... yea its a good thing I was watching him.

every so often , I like to let one go ANY PLACE they want ( well, any place safe  ) and I watch , and some of the places they think they need to go - I just do not under stand - lol WHY do you want to go to the dust bunny filled under the cabinet corner - WHY do you want to hide under the couch - WHY do you love to sit on the red remote control truck? :p
I love to hear stories of little adventures of chams - he sounds cute, a handful, but cute ! :D

I have a little guy about that age. Same thing. Wherever he is, he wants to be somewhere else. somehow he always ends up at the door. I'm always amazed at the places that he can get himself to. Chameleons sure were made to climb all sorts of crazy things
