Teenage months?

Waldo is rounding 7 months old so I'm guessing that he's entering the teenage stage. He started arching his back and opening his mouth, even though he still likes being hand fed. He's got a chubby belly on him lol. But today he caught me looking at him so he swung his butt up the tree and got all big and puffy at me. Hasn't struck at me but he has stared at me with his mouth open.

So I'm guessing I have a teenager on my hands

My boy is around 6months and overnite went from letting me take him out of the cage to hissing and trying to bite then running away. He clearly feels that he needs to defend his home
