I got two tamatave' females from some kid down south and one is a great breeder... bred twice now. the other will not breed. She shows receptive colors but will get angry as soon as our male is introduced.. we have tried everything to get her to breed. kept her solitary with no view of other animals.. her poop is good. the temps are right.. are there some diseases that might be making her uncomfortable and not able to breed? she is supposedly 1 year and some change but i cant know for sure.

have you put another female that is less suitable like has a niped tail or visual deformity scares ect. i have two ambanjas who would not breed and then i put another female in with them and he started to court the new girl and she showed receptivity and then the first girl showed receptivity and the male left the nip tail to court with the first girl and then mated.

thats funny you mentioned that haha the other tamatave female is a nipped tail i call stubby. She has bred twice since i had the pair and the long tailed one will not breed. i have tried every thing possible.. it has to be something wrong with her.

have you tried a different male or two males two females i had good luck with that once. and some times chams need time and different houseing. my ambanjas wouldent mate in one cage nor when it was a lil colder. as soon as spring came around and i moved them and added the nip tail girl ,with another male in sight things started to work for me.
