Taller, better, faster, stronger..

hehe, so i want to make my 9 month old's cage a bit larger...I made it out of PVC pipe, and it's 4 feet tall, I recently bought a ficus, and another tree that are taller than that in a pot, so I think i need to make it taller, a couple of extentions and there we have it, but i am trying to think of something to cover the bottom of the cage, maybe 6-12 inches without rescreening it...any ideas?

the base bit in particular!

This will take the plants lower and so the enclosure larger. Is that the sort of thing you're after? You can just make the bottom as deep as you want and leave more of a gap above the plants (if that makes sense?)
