Tadpoles? Baby Frogs?

So my friend plopped 16 of these little guys at my house last night to take care of. I always loved raising them....but the chameleon lover side of me is curious....i wonder if they would be of any nutritional value to my male and female veiled or if they would be harmful or if I should just watch all these lil dudes turn into frogs like back in the day? Anybody? :p

lol maybe ill just raise them into frogs, read online and didn't find much info on feeding them to veileds.

I would imagine they eat little frogs in the rain forest all the time. Me, I love frogs too much and could never feed them to anything!

I know! It's such a hard decision :( I dont know what to do, I have 16 healthy little guys that will turn to baby frogs within a month or so...And Im contemplating on testing one of them with my veiled but then again I dont know if I can do it! I might just watch them grow and then let the little buggers go...Im still on the hunt to find a praying mantis nest.... tisk tisk

i know you always have to worry about feeders passing on parasites. I don't think I would take the chance of feeding them. They are too cute anyways!

My only worry would be them eating too much protien, the same as feeding them a pinky mouse is the way i look at it. Im still a noob by far tho :p

thanks for the help, i think ill just let these guys grow and release them rather than risk my babies getting parasites from these wild caught tadpoles. still looking for mantis ooths tho.... :(

oh i know, i was just hoping to get lucky because when i was a kid it seemed like we always found them in bushes and i cant find any around my whole neighborhood, seems like the population of mantis' have decreased in southeastern indiana :( but i may still go that route and purchase some, who knows, thanks for the link!

The administer brad on the feeder forum... Could it be the same as our very own?

No chance, our Brad has far to much to do keeping us lot in check. I think it's more likely that 'Brad' is a title conferred upon all Administrators once they achieve a black belt in cat-herding.
