T5 hood

looking to purchase a 24" dual hood for xl reptibreeze. Thinking one arcadia 12% for uv, one 6500k for plants, and obviously a basking light. 1st question is will this set up be sufficient? 2nd question is, any suggestions on what dual hood would be best/affordable and fit reptibreeze xl??? Thanks

On more thing...Do ones for aquariums work?? Saw one from zoo med that looks like it would fit perfectly on my xl reptibreeze.

You need a 6% in a dual fixture. Yes this will be sufficient. Yes you can use one for a fish tank as long as it has a good metal reflector. I use a quad that is made by odyssea and it works great.

What about for the plant bulb? U suggest just any 6500k or something else??

6500k daylight bulbs work. If your doing a cage with a ton of plants you might want to go up to using a quad fixture. There are other options you can add later if you do a dual as well.
