Does anyone have a care sheet for the quadricornis species....specifically the T. q. quadricornis? I used to have my heart set on getting a blue bar ambilobe panther for my next chameleon, but dang.....those fins and horns are making me second guess myself lol
Im just wondering what type of husbandry is involved with the T. q. quadricornis before i think even more about getting one. I have a veiled right now and i know its probably a big jump in care requirements from a veiled to a quad lol

Pretty much like all montane species. Dont wanna have to much heat and very humid conditions. Lots of foilage. Lots of water im thinking.
Feeding is like with most chams. so you have that knowledge already.

could I get at that info laurie? I have been inquiring about the ownership of a quad and have been looking to do some reading before I start looking.

I have seen much about owning them in pairs like a male and a female. is this done in the same enclosure?

All I can tell you is it is not done in one enclosure at my home. I keep my males and females such that they can't see each other. The only time they are friends is when they breed. I do that with every kind of cham I own - just me.

Shoot me your email. My file is to too big for the forum.:)

As usual you make it larger than life. I have 6 bedrooms, I bet lots of people here have much bigger nicer homes than I do. Mine is really nothing special, just sort of big.

LOL!! Stop being modest! PFFFTT lots....

Glad to hear that other species are catching your eye. Panthers might have a lot of color but to me they are boring. A lot of the other species have plenty of color plus other cool attributes like horns!!
