Syringe feeding and stressed chameleon! Please help

@Beman This is him right now... he looks like reddish gray. But at least he came out while I was out shopping. I couldn’t get a better picture because I was trying really hard to be quick, but he saw me and went back down. I needed to mist anyways because he is at least drinking. I feel so bad that he is so stressed. He also hasn’t eaten :(. Should I move him into my closet where I can leave the light on and shut the door for the absolute least amout of activity? He won’t even need to see us and he would be high up. The closet is like 5 steps away from where he is so it wouldn’t be a traumatizing move I think. Or should I just schedule the vet visit?
No don't move him. No more additional stress like that. He is attempting to come out. let him just do him... He is still trying to get used to the cage changes. He has been through a lot. So the less stress the better.

Eyes look good. color looks normal.

Please post a couple of recent photos of your chameleon.

so the first 3 pictures are when I had first gotten him. The last 3 are all after the vet visit but the last one specifically is him today.

okay. I guess I don’t know enough about colors because the color looks so strange to me. What should I look for to see if he’s really not doing well? Because from what we have discussed, this just seems like intense stress. Anything else I could do also? Like cover the cage with a gray blanket I have (not on the cage but I could hold it up in front of the cage so there’s still air flow and he just can’t see me)? Because I think since I had to put him a little bit lower, he can feel my vibrations when I walk by and it’s scaring him. That was supposed to be temporary (a few days) but now I guess I should just leave him and eventually when he’s okay I can move him. I don’t want to call the vet because I don’t want her to ask me to bring him in... but there’s no way she would help me over the phone (I think??). Poor baby, times like this I wish I could talk to him!! Btw I have crickets but also horn worms superworms BSFL and small dubias, should I put a variety in?
