Well the little man may not need antibiotics if it is not an infection and he is just aspirating water due to the watering method. Stop doing the water that way. Only spray down the plants really really well. Then let him drink normally. Watch his behavior. If he starts gaping then yes a vet is needed. But double check your basking temp as well just to know it is the correct 80-85 max temp.
