he was trying too eat a cricket and he had to move his jaw very fast in order for the tongue to come out of his mouth. When it came out it did not shoot out for the cricket but was limp and swollen.. Very big and limp. one side is Dark purple and the other is light pink. It has a very big green or dark line wrapping around it. He had to close his mouth and the tongue did not go back in but just hung there. He opened his mouth and half of his tongue, the dark purple side is hanging out. still with his mouth closed. He is shaking very bad, and is not gripping that well. His eyes look more into his head. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Take your lizard to a vet as soon as possible, your lizard has serious health issues that need to be diagnosed and treated immeadiately.
Your lizard can and will go downhill fast without attention.
Im betting a major infection being the cause of weakness/shaking.
some injury to the tongue mouth has gone unnoticed until now (symptoms are obvious)
This is often the case with reptiles. Daily observation really is best to spot small problems before they become large problems.
Dont waste time here, your lizard needs help now!

AGREED!!!!!!!dont waste anytime!!

I know you've said before that you don't have money for the vet, but this is not a problem that you can fix at home or just wait out until he heals. This is a possible systemic wide spread infection that will kill your chameleon very quickly. It's not something that can fixed by good care on your part. If nothing else you're looking at a necrotic, possible gangrenous tongue if left unattended to, which can quickly spread to a fatal infection if that process hasn't started already. Unfortunately vet bills are part of the responsibility of owning a pet of any variety. You need to start asking friends or relatives for contributions or early gift money because your chameleon is on it's way out if you don't get it to a vet. Sorry.

You have a couple choices here.

1. Take the animal to the vet. Get it treated and fix the many things that need to be in your husbandry.
2. Find someone who can care for the animal properly and give it to them, for free.
3. Crush its head and put it out of its misery.

Whoa, number 3 is not a good idea! Id never recommend a novice euthanise an animal themselves, anymore than id recommend someone perform surgery on their child them self.
Euthanasia means 'Good death', this is not likely ever to be the case where somebody dosen't know what they are doing.
This should be a vet call aswell if nessesary.
:(
I understand your meaning, Action is required, one way or another, but I cant help imagining folk, who may have a sick or injured cham (or other animal), either not wanting to, or not being able to take it to a vet, reading that and deciding to belt their chams heads in with a hammer or something instead.
The thought is Horrific. Its just not likely to be humane, quick or easy on either lizard or keeper!
