Swollen paw

Current problem:

Today I bought a temporalis male (wc, adult) with an injured/swollen paw. So next step: fix it. Anyone with similar experiences? Vet appointment is only later this week, but while doing research, I'm starting to get the feeling this might be an urgent issue...

Chameleon Info:

Your chameleon - R. temporalis, male, adult (age not known), in my care for about 12 hours now.
Feeding - Seller said they only fed crickets in the last month.
Supplements - No info
Watering - No info, doesn't look dehydrated
Fecal Description - Urate is white, rest looks normal to me too.
History - Wild caught, was in the shop for about 1 month before I bought him. They didn't notice the paw, but I don't know if they regularly inspected him properly. He wasn't notabe pissed off when holding him (touching his paw), he tries to use his paw to climb.

Cage Info: No info about previous cage
Location - Belgium

I'm glad to hear you have a vet appointment. That doesn't look good. Could be an injury such as a broken bone on maybe gout. :(

Ok, damn, I was figuring out gout, so my alarm bell started to ring. I'll call my vet tomorrow and tell him it's more urgent then I thought.

Anything I can do for him in the mean time? I can't go to the vet tomorrow because of work and deadlines, I hope he's not in too much pain and that it can wait at least one more day! I'm kind of panicking as I found that gout can get really really bad in an eye blink...

Here some more pictures of him. For the rest he looks fine to me...
