Swelling vent on Jackson Chameleon?

Ok, so i have a friend with a Jackson's chameleon which is about 4" long, about 7-9 months old now. And he's noticed that it has swelling of it's vent area, literally RIGHT behind the vent. It didn't pop up until about 2 weeks ago. Currently he is in a typical chameleon's habitat, except that is has Eco Earth substrate by zoo med. He feeds him about 10-15 crickets every other day. Just curious if anyone knows what may have caused the swelling, and if anyone knows what it might be.

No he hasn't yet. Could it be just impacting, or sperm plug?

a sperm plug wont cause swelling.

I would suggest a fecal, sometimes a parasite can cause swelling.

impaction could i believe.
