Sweating eggs with no hatching

Sorry for the repost.. but I realise my other questions are listed under General Photos.. so I thought reposting this here would get more attention and more feedback

My eggs have been sweating but no one has hatched

Monday afternoon the one baby hatched (unexpectedly)
Tuesday morn 1 egg was sweating
Wednesday 7 eggs are sweating
Thursday 9 eggs are sweating

The one that started sweating Tuesday morning now has a 'window' transparent looking part of the shell.

Come on babys come out already! Could there be something wrong or is this normal.. This is my first time so I don't know.

Lastnigght one egg 'cracked' open and the baby is just sitting inside.. has been all day today too. about an hour ago another egg 'cracked" as well... So I am hoping now the flood gates will open

I have noticed that 3 eggs that where sweating are now dry looking. The big egg with the window (that started sweating tuesday morning) still has not opened up

When you say the eggs cracked open...they should slit in a sort of x shape at one end of the egg...if they are splitting somewhere else its not a good thing.

Don't take the lids off the containers often or for more than a couple of seconds when necessary....it allows the eggs to dry out.

yes the ones that I said cracked are really splitting in an x at one end.

Baby # 2 has just come out. Baby #3 is still inside his split egg.

I will not open the lid as much anymore. I was checking on them constantly.
I did add a few drops of water to the substrate to see if that helps

Nothing from the other 11 eggs except 3 of them stopped sweating

Congrats! That is so exciting!!! :) How long were they incubating?

Its important to wait, patience its a virtue here, they'll come out by themselves. Don't try helping, they need to absorbe the yolk they might have attached to them, gain energy to come aout, etc.

Be patient, I have seen them take as 17 days from the first baby to the last baby, try to hang in there.

Congratulations! It is always so exciting to have babies hatching. Looking forward to your neonate photos.

We've had eggs sweat for days, and then "pip" (with the star or x cut on one end) for days, and then finally come out of the shell. While in the shell they are eating their last "free" meal from their yolk sack. We've seen a few exit the egg early, bringing the yolk sack with them, attached to the umbilical cord. Those chams generally sit somewhere, while the yolk sack shrinks, and then the cord shrivels up and is dropped.

If there was no diapause it can be a couple months from first hatch to last hatch.

My first veiled eggs are hatching. The first 3 popped out on 3?15/09, they have kept coming out as they please. Today # 26 arrived, only four more on the little guys to go.

Check out my babies growing thread to see the size difference. Sorry I don't know how to put a link in to the thread.

Wow!

I keep telling myself to just chill out and stop worrying. I was the same way when I was waiting for my female to lay her eggs... worrying over every little thing!

I am happy to report that 3 babys have hatched since last week one Monday and 2 over Easter weekend. and today I saw another egg X pipe (that the right term?) today.

Thank you all for the reassurance. Im just being a worried new parent
