Since nothing has been done yet, i am more than ready for suggestions to be prepared for my future pet, this also does not include the decorations or vines added, just the major things I hope are quality and most importantly what will make my Cham happy!

I personally would not use a 100 watt halogen with a chameleon, I have had bade experiences with just 39 watts and 75 watts burned him extremely bad.

You also could just get the plain calcium without d3 and the reptivite with d3 and that's all you need for dusting.

Is it possible to just have it Higher? If not I can definitely change it immediately, but is there any difference if I am getting a bigger cage for an older chameleon. I am new to this and I gladly take take answers, thank you.

For my veiled I use a 75 watt bulb. His basking branch is about 7-8 inches away. It keeps the basking temperature in the highter 80s but I believe for panthers the temperature should be a tad lower than veileds

Panthers have the same Temps as veileds when they are juveniles and adults. How big is your cage going to be? Unless it was at least 6 feet tall and you could give about a foot of space with some wiggle room, I would do a lower wattage. Halogens burn very hot.

I guess the size I am getting shouldn't matter too much, what watt would you suggest or even bulb?
For a 30x30x18 cage

For adult male veileds the care sheet says 90-95. For male panthers it says 85-90. One time I think jannb said that she dosent put her male veileds as high as 95. Do you think that it should be changed? Yes I would definitely lower the wattage as well

I personally would just do a regular basking bulb, 75 or 60 watt, I have a 60 watt and that's all I need. However if you are worried about live plants or something get a uvb light from light your reptiles and then make it a dual fixture at least and add a play grow light.

In my opinion veiled adult males don't need to be any higher than 88, that gives the temp of the room the possibility to bump it up a few degrees without problem. They do no worse at 88 than they would at 90 or 95, in fact I honestly think they do better.

Alright, thanks for the advice, I'll put this to mind to change my list so I don't have to worry about it mid-caring for the Cham

Also I would like to know if the clear side cages from dragonstrand are a good choice and if the glass on the three sides is too much, if you have any experience with them

It shouldn't be a problem unless your house or where you live has naturally high humidity.

I don't think that that cage will be big enough for an adult panther, so a baby would only use it for a few months.
