Supplements for a Fruit Fly Culture

I have a bunch of baby Nosy Be's at the moment.
I decided to try out a couple of producing fruit fly cultures from one of our site sponsors, Josh's Frogs.

Does anyone have any advice on how to provide proper supplementation when using a fruit fly culture? Do you just dust the fruit flies before putting them in to be eaten? Do you add something to the culture to let them eat while they're in there? Are the flies pretty much good to go as they are without any additional steps?

I've only used pinhead crickets for babies before, so the flies are new for me...
Any advice is very much appreciated.
Thanks!

Dust them with plain calcium.... But you still have to feed small crickets with the ff flies. Them alone do not have enough moisture..... Also I like super fly by repashy that mix has a lot of good stuff that the flies eat and breed in .... Go on there web. Site and read all that's in there mix it is amazing.... And the cultures last a good while and they don't mold.

Thanks, I'll order some of the repashy.

Yes you need to dust at least some of the fruit flies with calicum and vitamins. Even a great diet for the larva will not transfer all the necessary nutrients to the adult fly stage and thus to your cham
