supplement help

I received my chameleon with a guide on everything the only thing I am questioning is how much of the calcium with d3 it asked for. On the paper it says calcium with d3 every other day multi vit once a week. After I went to the vet today I recieved a supplement called vitamin 13 because he isn't getting enough vit a. the vet also said to take him out for an hour a day for direct sunlight should I just use rep cal calcium with no d3 and if so how often?

You should use calcium without D3 at just about every feeding, calcium with D3 twice a months and a multi vitamin with some A in it twice a month. Outside time for your cham is excellent just don't let him get too hot.

Okay that is what I kept reading and am going to fix that asap. I plan on buying him a tree and misting it that way he can be happy .

Thank you for your help. and just to make sure my vet said he needed it about an hour a day my cham doesn't really like being handled a lot but once he is on my hand he is fine would it be okay to take him out?

Most days I take mine out a couple of hours in the mornings and then a couple more hours in the evening. The more you interact with him the friendlier he will get.

it really depends also on the BRAND of supplement
and the type of chameleon
