Suggestions to get my Usambara 3 horned to eat something else?

That's good she ate the hookworm.

Congratulations on that victory!

Is it possible that she prefers bigger prey? I know there's a sort of board standard of "no wider than the eyes" but my little Rudis has nailed some massive crickets and seemed quite proud of herself (okay...it's me projecting, we all know that).

You might try a couple of large crickets...see if the bigger bugs don't attract her attention.

Lizard lover thanks for the source for Green Kaytitids I've been looking for a supplier for these for a while. I'm going to start a colony in my greenhouse.

I agree about feeding out pill bugs. I used to feed my montium and quads pill and they used to devoire them. May want to supplement you Deremensis with pill bugs.

How exactly do you feed them the pill bugs? In a cup? Or just out them in the cage with them? How big are they?

Your welcome, I think they will get them back in stock in, March, I would recommend buying the three nymphs rather than the 25 eggs, they are easier to rear from nymph to adult than egg to adult for a first timer.

I used to hand feed pill bugs but would also let them crawl up the screen etc.
