Hey fellow Cham fans :)

After much deliberation and conversation, planning and DIY I have built my little Rembrandt's new Vivarium ,which he seems to have taken an instant liking to :)

I have constructed an entanglement of willow branches tied together to form one large self supporting structure and would like to have a creeping plant grow amongst this to create a more natural environment for rembrandt, after speaking to my hortaculturaist brother he suggested jasmin but I now know that to be unsafe, (obviously he's not a chameleon owner so doesn't know)

Can anyone suggest a nice flowering creeper that won't harm my Cham or affect the citrus tree wandering Jew or umbrella tree that are currently in the viv??

Ps. I'd love to post photos but for some reason my iPad won't let me :(

Me and my strange questions, if you have a citrus tree, wandering jew, umbrella tree, how big is rembrandt's cage? It is either really big or he is going to be so over ran with plants he will have no space. That wandering jew is going to fill in a lot of space, it could be used as a creeper for him.

I like questions :) the viv is 5ft tall 3 ft wide 2.5ft deep and stands 7ft high (its attatched to a cabinet) as it stands the umbrella is about 3ft high in the middle the citrus tree is still very young (about a ft high) and the wandering Jew hangs from about 5 ft amongst the willow branch "climbing frame" ive built ... It just looks a bit bare to me , also I don't really want the wandering jew in there , Rembrandt tends to keep away from it

Nice cage, very nice. Your little rembrant must enjoy it. You go for those plants.:) I use orchids in my cages.

I second the pothos recommendation - mine is growing quite well, and as the shoots get longer I just wrap them around the branches of my cane plant, or the biovines that I have in there for extra highways. Your cage sounds fantastic - your boy must be loving it!

I'm fairly sure I read that honeysuckle is safe, assuming it's the same plant over here as in the UK, it's fairly easy to grow, smells lovely and winds quite nicely around things.
