It happened - I hatched a moth!!

Impressive! It was a hornworm once right? I would love to know how you managed to keep it alive long enough for metamorphosis. Mine all die off if I don't give them to my Cham before they run out of food.

Yes, this was a hornworm. I stocked up on hornworm chow and transferred 3 of them into a glass tank with screen lid - filled a small Tupperware container with peat moss and put it in there. Once they were super fat and turning a bit of a yellowish color (and not eating or moving anymore), I put them in the peat moss. They pupated while in the peat moss. I set up a heat lamp to rest on the screen lid and sprayed the peat moss daily at this point. Today, I had my first hatch. Waiting on the 2 others now.
