hello everyone =]
so i have a exo terra glass tank for my young cham and ive read a few things on here that says u should never put any type of substrate on the bottom of the cage. is this true? do i really put nothing to soak up the water? and i also saw these things in the pet store called hydo balls for the bottom what is this used for?

they dont really need this being a tree dwelling species. I wouldnt use it. I used paper towels, chams like to bite or eat things.

Substrate isn't used because chams can eat it. Also its allows bacteria to grow at a rapid rate because of the heat and humidity of the enclosure.
You can leave your cage bear at the bottom and wipe it down every night or use papertowels to line the bottom, changing them every couple of days.
