i have seen people say use substrate and others saying not to. i wanted to know if T-Rex Reptile Forest Bed Substrate is safe for male veilds or if i should not use any substrate at all?

No substrate at all. Substrate can cause problems such as impaction.

Use newspaper, plexiglass or fishtank backround is alot of peoples fav. I prefer plexiglass lasts for ever I pull it out wash it off easy clean up and looks cool if u put fake plants under it
