they want to hide the pots from the live plants.

Never mind than. Maybe get a big pot and plant multiple plants in it? Let it grow over. I seen someone putting moss in the pots and it grew like crazy. It turned out really nice too. You can also paint the pot the plant is in and put a jungle theme on it.

dont do hydroballs/sceen/soil

I choose the hydroballs/screen/plantation soil and it was not worth the money or my effort. I just pulled it all out and am going for repticarpet and plants in pots instead. Much easier to keep clean.
