I recently rescued a male veiled cham and I noticed that his vent was swollen and the tissue was red and irritated. I took him to the vet and she prescribed something to help that as she had told me it was a prolapse. I've been giving him sugar water soaks quite often to keep the area moist and avoid further problems but this morning during his soak out came a stuck sperm plug! That was about 8 hours ago and it is still really swollen and the tissue isnt in like it should be. I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it should take to look normal or when I should start being concerned? I've had him a week now and its been like that since before I got him so I'm not sure how much damage could have been done..
