Alright so its been a week since i got my 2 month old veiled and the first 5 days he seemed happy but then he started shedding and he has been brown since then i know they turn brown when there stressed and there is still skin on his forehead could this be causing it? i dont want my lil fella to die
Cage Info:
Cage Type -All screened 2x2x4 LxWxH
Lighting - Repti Glo 5.0, 40 watt household bulb in dome lamp 12 hours on and 12 hours off
Temperature - 77-85 ,70 lowest night temp, Welders Laser Thermometer not usually in the 90's but i rearranged his cage today and he found the hottest spot for basking which is 91
Humidity - Currently 50 Humidifier, Hygrometer
Plants - Ficus Elastica, Corn Plant
Placement - In my hot room Not near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas 7 feet from top of the cage to My room floor
Location - Grand Junction Colorado
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled, Male 2 Months, Had him for 7 days
Handling - about 3-4 times a day for a few min.
Feeding - Crickets, 6-10 per day in the morning, Gut loading with cricket quencher
Supplements - Rep-Cal Calcium with d3-2 times a month, Rep-cal herp-once a month, zoo-med calcium Every feeding
Watering - Dripper and misting, Mist 3-4 times a day for about 2 min. Ive seen him drink twice
Fecal Description - Black with white end. Never been tested
History - Got him from FLChams 7 days ago
