Strange White Patch???

After a long day i got home, fed my chameleon and after a good look, i found a strange white patch on his skin. I am not sure if it is shed skin but i didn't want to open his cage and inspect because he can get aggressive when i open it. recently he has been acting up so, i have been finding ways to help him calm down and one is to not open the cage as often. Does anyone know what this is? He hasnt shed for 2 weeks. Is there a reason it is here? Btw! The green thing in the back is a decorative pin.

How long has the pin been in there? Honestly he looks stressed and may be reacting to the pair of eyes staring at him(the pin). I would remove it and see how he looks.

Hopefully it's shed about to come off, but if nothing happens to the mark soon it could be a big problem. It don't think it's a burn.

He actually has been in a better mood since i put it there. He is stressed because i opened the cage to look. After watching him he never actually looks at the pin, so i don't think it is anything to worry about. It ended up just being shed skin. I was worried because he had just shed so i thought it was something else. He is perfectly fine now thanks everyone for the help!
