Storing and Saving Poop for Fecal?

My guy just pooped a giant not so bad looking poop......still very diarrhea looking but a much better improvement since his last poop. He NEEDS a fecal done so i was able to catch his poop in a tupperware container and tomorrow it is going to get checked.....my question is do i put this poop in the fridge till then or just leave it at room temp?

It will be best to keep it in the fridge rather than room temp - just make sure that you clearly label the box/bag that you store it in!

The vet I seen said it needed to be the same day, fresher the better.

Freshly laid will yield the most accurate results.

Its still ok to take one in the next day. Your right though fresh is the best. Although not very appetizing.....sorry I missed lunch today.
