Pretty old article, but interesting. I've found im injection to be very stressful to already sick chameleons. I can rationalize one initial injection but not a repeated regime. I wonder if this affected their results? When ever possible oral application should be preferred.

Some chameleons in my experience take the injections well and others don't. Oral has always been easier IMHO....you can "trick" them into taking oral meds so they don't even know they got it.

If you mean how can we trick them...you can inject the antibiotics into an insect (which works as long as the chameleon is eating); you can get the chameleon eating or drinking and then ease the meds in while the chameleon is opening and shutting its mouth.
