Current Problem – She has not poo’d!! Ive tried submerging her bum under warm water and even given her a 30 minute shower! What’s my next step? Or is this a sign of her getting closer to lay her eggs??

i had this same problem. however i dont know anything about eggs and how they effect chams yet becuase my girl has never layed. i was worriod but i saw her poo after 4-5 days of no poops. than when cleaning it up i found another older large poo and a littler one. she had been pooing i just cuddnt find them. mabey thats your problem as well?

Could be...Well she will be getting her cage cleaned shortly, so Ill inspect while doing so!! Thank you!

Gravid colors means you need an egg laying bin and lower her food... Females need less food and ESPECIALLY don't need it every day at that age... The more you feed, the more eggs she can likely produce and there is a chance since you don't believe that she was taken care of, that she may be egg bound. I would say err on the safe side and take her to a vet, other than this I would try a warm shower i.e. put her on a plant, turn the shower head towards the wall and let the spray bounce onto her plant... But down her feedings and supplementation slightly, otherwise she will become egg bound. JMHO. But again, please take her to vet so that they can do something before it becomes a REAL problem.

I have a laying bin in her cage..I will try the shower with the plant! I tried a shower last night but without a plant! She seemed to enjoy it, but it didnt make her poop!

Have you tried palpating her abdomen to see if shes even gravid or if shes just fat and constipated. Before I took her to the vet I would try palpating her to see if I could feel anything. Should feel like a bunch of small rocks or marbles. If she is gravid just make sure she stays hydrated during this time. Laying & esp digging takes alot out of them and you dont want her to start that process already in a debilitated state. Makes laying and recovery much harder on them.

Yes Ive felt her stomache...and I think I can feel a few eggs in her belly! But again...I could be wrong...maybe its that she is constipated and fat!! But why would she be showing her Gravid colors all the time?

Did I miss the part where you told us how long it's been since she pooped?

I could be wrong, but I suspect you'd be better off leaving her in the cage with the laying bin. You might even want to wrap some light material or paper around the cage near the bin so she can't see out easily when she's on the bin. Privacy is a good thing.
