I'm just curious, has anyone ever herd of breeding stick bugs? Watched a movie on you tube that went over it briefly. There suppose to be real nutritious for chameleons.

Im told they are illegal in the USA and I've heard this forum is monitored by authorities who might crack down on those with them. So please be careful about what you say here. My chams love stick bugs.

I can't verify the validity of this guy's claim but he claims that one of the many species of stick bugs (the Northern Stick) is legal in the United States to buy, sell, and keep.

Northerns are legal but don't make as good of feeders. They are longer and skinnier and spikier than the preferred Indian stick bugs.

I have access to Northerns among other species.

PM for details.

Thanks for the info, i did not know they were illegal in the USA. I guess it makes sense, if you start to spread different bugs around the world that don't belong there, it could cause some problems.

I just like looking for variety :D

My chameleon likes the indian sticks. And they eat dark leafy greens so I imagine they are good for him too
