Steve's moving home!

Good morning/afternoon (wherever you are)

The time has come, Steve, 8 month old male veiled is moving into bigger and better things.

Current set up 46cm x 46cm x 60cm. Exoterra Glass. 40w heat. 18inch UVB. Mist 3+ a day. Natural plant. Eats 5-8 large locusts each day.

Moving into 80cm (w) x 50cm (d) x 100cm (h). LuckyReptile Mesh Pro. 60w heat. Same UVB. 2 natural plants (rather than 1). Diet and mists will stay the same.

He's outgrown his Exoterra and I want him to be able to move more freely.

However this is his first move. Any tips on moving him in? What shall I expect?

I'm thinking he may not eat for a day or two depending on how quick he settles into a new surrounding.

Any tips would be much appreciated!

I just moved my veiled into his new adult enclosure. He stuck to one corner for the night and most of yesterday morning. He wouldn't hand feed so I left his feeders in a cup and hung it in the vines for him to eat when nobody was around. Not 5 minutes later I start hearing his tongue smacking the cup. Today hes been roaming like crazy only stopping to bask every so often.

Hiya! I'm 3 days in.. and he hasn't eaten much! His locusts usually roam free and he was an incredible hunter before hand. I'm worried, but naturally as I right in thinking he's just getting used to his new territory and soon he should be back to his eating self in no time?
