I'm happy to announce that Frac, one of the two female sternfeldi I got last summer, delivered 6 babies today. Unfortunately the 2nd one didn't make it. The first and third struggled for awhile, but seem to be doing fine. Number 4, 5, and 6 were moving right from the time they were dropped (in fact one of them was only partially out and already wiggling lol). When I noticed #6 about an hour after the rest had dropped, I picked up the leaf he was on, and HE GAPED AT ME! The little brat lol. That one's gonna be trouble. The first three were born in their sacs, the last three born running. I'm pretty happy that she didn't have more, given it's my first (and last) clutch of anything other than pygmies.
