I just think of it as my own, perfect little world, that everyone else is too ignorant to take part in:p
People tend to think it means you cant feel emotion, but its more like emotions are just linked to different "triggers"...
...creating gaps in understanding between the participants, and thats what creates the social awkwardness...

I hadnt heard they were removing it from the DSM. I have the DSM-IVR and its still in there.. But i have to buy the new one coming out, so I will check.

And I think its stupid and ignorant that people think anyone with autism, in any form, are stupid, mentally retarded, cant feel or understand.etc. they just feel things differently.
I know a girl, very autistic, cant communicate verbally.. who went and got a bachelors in history and through the help of a facilated typer and voice keyboard, can communicate and formulate sentences just like 'regular' people.

for many people with aspergers,ro any form of autism, they are in their own little world at times. the only difference is that people need to learn how to gain access.

Haha yea. she needed a caregiver 24/7 but she was very smart.
and I say at times, because to people with the disorder.. their world is normal. to everyone else, it can seem weird, but they can have moments of 'normalcy'.

and thanks! if you want to go back to school, go for it. whats stopping you?
