Everywhere Ive been, when you get right down to it, the people are basically the same.
Over here, we have some extremely big headed people, and Im sure you do as well. Its just chaos here atm. Im sickened to go outside and see how people act. No class whatsoever...

We should swap places then :p I dislike living here, Florida is the place for me one day.

Oh we get people like that here, you can't seem to smile at someone without getting a dirty look in return  I don't go out at night if I can help it, we've had about 4 robberies in our area in the past 2 months.

Lol, sounds like we should!
I swear everyone here is on HARD drugs.
I look at people and think,
Meth,
Pills,
Coke,
Heroin,
Ect...

I have never been a bit racist in my life(im white) and have friends of all ethnicities, but I cant go to the mall without getting glared at, or shoulder checked:confused:
Everyone always wants to fight, or rather act like they want to fight. They are so insecure that they need to act tough, instead of relaxing and enjoying life:rolleyes:

LMAO Well if they choose to damage their bodies with stuff like that, its their problem, at least you have your good health.

I know what you mean though, you can feel their eyes on you. I'm in a wheelchair and stair like they've never someone in a wheelchair before

Damn, we might need to just head to the middle of nowhere then, civilization seems to be broken ;/

That's what we all want to hear I suppose ! :)
Owning a chameleon for the first time is an amazing experience... But I can't tell how many sleepless nights that caused!:)

Tell me about it! Monty has caused no end of worry - I always have the thought at the back of my mind that they are so hard to care for. He must be the most pampered chameleon in the word, lol! I have had him since he was 7 weeks old and he is now 5.5 months and he's still here! Once he gets to 6 months I will be able to worry a little less!

With regard to growth and feeding - I can only speak of my experience with Amy, since she is the only 'more common' chameleon that I have had as a baby. Once she got to 6 months old her food intake dropped naturally and where she was shedding every month up until 6 months, she then slowed right down to shedding every 3 months, like my first female and Tommy did. Also, as babies they will pop that old skin off in a matter of hours, adults take a while longer. They may shed one body part at a time over 2 or 3 weeks. Sometimes it seems like they always have skin hanging off some part or other, lol!

I find that keeping detailed records really helps me to look back on to help others further down the line! I knew my first female that well, that I could tell by her colour when she was starting to cycle eggs. I noted things down the first time and sure enough the second time she displayed the same colour and behaviour, 3 weeks or so later, her second clutch was laid, pretty much to the day that I had predicted from my notes. That may seem a bot OTT for a pet, but it what my sweet Lily taught me has helped so many others. It was her that started all this lizard keeping lark - she has a lot to answer for, lol! :D

I noticed that on the form you stated that your Chameleon has never been tested for parasites. I would highly recommend that you take a sample to the veterinarian to have a fecal float and smear done.

Well ChameleonFan 1989, I can definitely say your thread has been hijacked! :D
Now members are talking about random stuff... Here!

that works too. did they give you a name for it? or jsut said you were on the spectrum?

HFA/aspergers, same difference? Its been a while. I figure its just the best thing they could come up with to explain me uncooperativeness...
Im not debilitated or anything...
