Starting to get concerned

And both of his cages are 4x2x2 with lots of live foliage and climbing branches. I use a mistking for both. And then I have his free range I let him roam on for a few hours every other day. I use a mini humidifier on a shelf right by it to keep his humidity up. And then I have a dripper going almost all day. Insect are gutload with fresh veggies as well as a lovely gutload by @Andee

And lately he has been getting off of his free range , onto my bed, onto the ground, and then back up to my roommates bed. I have to watch him. He is an adventurous one. He also has had a lot of sperm plugs recently so I'm wondering if he is wanting to breed.

Beardies are usually easy to feed...there isn't much they don't like!
Superworms can be gutloaded on the same greens and veggies as I use to gutload crickets.

Phoenixcham...has your chameleon started eating better since he pooped?
If the foot near the cut is swollen then it's likely infected and needs to be seen by a good reptile vet so it can be cleaned out and a culture and sensitivity test can be done to determine what antibiotics to put the chameleon on. If the infection is spreading this could have something to do with him not eating.

Oh my gosh she is a freaking garbage disposal. She goes psycho when she sees me trying to feed roaches. And I do gutload super with collards, and carrots. Bedding is just oats and I put some of my gutload in as well. My problem is I know Buddy is addicted to them. I will offer him 5 different feeders only for him to refuse. The moment I offer a super he snatches it off the screen. I starved him for 3 days a few weeks back. Wouldn't touch a single thing. I offered him 3 supers and he snapped them up in a heartbeat. I just don't wnat the problem of him only wnating one feeder. He does really like silks though. Horns I have an issue with. He is bored after the first few and then refuses them. He is picky as dressing crap and it drives me up a tree. I started feeding every other day again. He does like black soldier flies and the larvae. He will normally eat those pretty quick. That and super worm beetles. I try to gutload those for a day or two before offering.

And I sometimes I shove a roach in his mouth while he is smacking his chompers

And then once a week or every other week I give him a little carnivore care so he can get other vitamins and protein into his system.

LMAO XD Buddy is still being a little pill. At least you are never bored ^^
NEVER!!Im so excited though!!My first year in the masters program is almost over!I will get to go home for a few months. I am connecting to Reptibreeze cages together for him! Beyond thrilled!! He so needs it!

Well she has been with me in the past, so it was only for me to presume so. It's just frustrating everytime I get on here people get bashed and are extremely rude.

Kelly_girl199...Can you please direct me to the posts I was snappy to you in. I'd like to know what I said.

No we offered him food afterwards but just looked at it. I don't think the cut is swollen or looks infected to me and sadly we have hardly any vets around where i live and they will most likely be only for 'typical house pets' haha

Also, I noticed he has very short nails like my guy. That's a Vit D3 problem. I received my guy like this. I've had him for 6 months now. I just found out about a month ago what was causing the short brittle nails. His body isn't processing D3. Diets thing I did was get him an outdoor setup and switch my vitamin/calcium supplement. His nails are already growing. I too have an issue with getting him to eat. I believe is form the vitamin imbalance. He was starting to get lazy and not gripping as well. All these things started changing as soon as I changed up a few things. I hope to continue to improvement within the next month. Best of luck.

Yes a couple of weeks ago 2 of his nails snapped. I definitely think he has a deficiency

We can't get it professionally checked as there are no reptile specialists round where i live. But from what i see his poop looks normal to me
Just get him outside for a few hours a day. I've already noticed a huge inmprovement in Buddy in the past month. Calcium supplementing I can't give a huge amount of information on bc I've only been using the Repashy product for a little over a month. I did notice he stopped shutting one eye and he doesn't do the lazy branch hugging. He is back to moving around like crazy. He wnats to be everywhere. But most of his nails were super short and brittle. Some there was almost nothing there. Not he only has one nail like that and then one short. The rest are turning white and growing nicely. I have read the nails do grow back very slowly. So it may be another few months before I see major improvement. If he did have any other deficiencies it will take a while for his body to regulate it's itself and get back to normal. I think if you can get a hold of an Arcadia 12 percent bulb that would be a great start. I got mine from reptile basics for 26$ shipped. I use a 24" fixture. And if he isn't in the cage I just turn it off. I have a quad light from light your reptiles.

Thanks for the advice :) we try to get him out in the sun as much as possible but at the minute the weather isn't perfect as we live in the uk. And yeah the next time we buy a uvb bulb I shall get a 12% one

I don't think he looks dehydrated at all. His head pads are good and his eyes are not sunken in.

I do feel that your gutloading/feeding of the insects needs improvement though. I use a wide assortment of greens and veggies such as dandelion greens, kale, collards, endive, escarole, card it's, sweet potato, sweet red pepper, zucchini, squash, etc and a bit of fruit such as berries, melon, pear, apple.

Supp!ements should be...
Phosphorous-free calcium powder at almost every feeding, phosphorous-free calcium/D3 powder twice a month lightly and a vitamin powder that contains a beta carotene prOformed source of vitamin A twice a month lightly. You may need to give him a vitamin prEformed A once in a while too.

I'm still a bit concerned about the cut...please post a couple more photos if the foot from the top or side.

This is the best pictures of the cut I could get and the powder we dust with every feeding

Naw his front foot doesn't look swollen my mistake, glad it was. If you want to help the cut heal you can use polysporin just make sure there are no pain killers. Gimme a sec to get the computer on and my brain working and I will look at what miner all indoor provides as far as vitamins etc and the ratios
